1.Purpose & Scope:
These Warranty & Service Terms & Conditions ("Terms") define the extent, duration, limitations, and procedures applicable to all interior design, execution, furnishing, and allied services provided by JAIS INTERIO PRIVATE LIMITED (hereinafter referred to as “JAIS INTERIO PRIVATE LIMITED ”).
These Terms form an integral part of the client agreement and are applicable from the date of project handover, unless otherwise specified in writing.
2.Product Warranty:
JAIS INTERIO PRIVATE LIMITED provides a 10-Year Product Warranty on all Manufacturing, workmanship and installed woodwork, subject to normal residential/commercial usage and adherence to maintenance guidelines.
2.1- Coverage Includes:
- Manufacturing defects in core materials including Plywood, MDF, HDHMR, and allied engineered boards.
- Delamination or separation of board layers.
- Edge band peeling under standard indoor conditions.
- Joint failures attributable to workmanship defects.
2.2 - Applicable Components:
- Kitchen cabinets and shutters.
- Wardrobes and storage units.
- Fixed furniture, paneling, and bespoke carpentry works.
2.3 Exclusions:
- Damage caused by water seepage, excessive humidity, or prolonged moisture exposure.
- Heat-related damage due to proximity to heat sources.
- Physical impact, mishandling, negligence, or misuse.
- Normal aging, surface wear, and aesthetic changes over time.
- Modifications, dismantling, or repairs executed by unauthorized personnel.
3.OEM / Branded Components Warranty:
All Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) supplied items are governed by their respective brand warranties.
3.1 - Includes:
- Branded shutters and fittings.
- Hardware (hinges, channels, lift-up systems, etc.)
- Appliances, electrical fixtures, and accessories.
- Warranty Duration: As per the manufacturer’s published warranty terms.
JAIS INTERIO PRIVATE LIMITED shall facilitate coordination and documentation support for warranty claims; however, approval, replacement, or repair is solely at the discretion of the OEM.
4. Kids’ Furniture Warranty (3 Years)
3-Year Warranty is provided on kids’ furniture covering manufacturing and workmanship defects under supervised and intended usage.
4.1-Exclusions:
- Damage resulting from rough usage
- jumping,
- overloading,
- accidental breakage,
- unauthorized alterations.
5. Service Warranty – Installation & Workmanship (1 Year)
JAIS INTERIO PRIVATE LIMITED offers a 1-Year Service Warranty covering installation-related defects arising from workmanship across the services detailed below.
5.1 - Countertops & Surfaces:
Coverage:
- Joint alignment issues
- Grouting defects
- Sink leveling and installation faults
Exclusions:
- Material defects
- Chipping, cracking, staining, or user-induced damage
5.2 - False Ceiling Works:
Coverage:
- Design execution inconsistencies
- Installation defects including sagging or misalignment
Exclusions:
- Water leakage, seepage, or dampness
- Structural movement or external force impact
5.3 - Painting, Polishing & Surface Finishes:
Coverage:
- Peeling or blistering due to improper application
- Uneven finish caused by workmanship defects
Exclusions:
- Natural aging and fading
- Environmental exposure including humidity and pollution
5.4 - Electrical Works:
Coverage:
- Loose wiring connections
- Improper fixture installation
- Basic wiring-related workmanship faults
Exclusions:
- Power surge or voltage fluctuation damage
- Product failure of fixtures
- Third-party modifications or tampering
5.5 - Plumbing Works:
Coverage:
- Leakages caused by improper installation
- Alignment or fitting defects
Exclusions:
- Water quality issues
- Blockages due to misuse
- External alterations or tampering
5.6 - Civil Works:
Coverage:
- Workmanship-related finish defects
- Alignment or leveling issues
Exclusions:
- Structural settlement or building movement
- Damage due to heavy usage or impact
- Normal wear and tear
5.7 - Custom Carpentry & Joinery:
Coverage:
- Joint separation due to workmanship faults
- Material defects under controlled conditions
Exclusions:
- Design changes post-installation
- Damage due to moisture, heat, or improper maintenance
5.8 - Shower Enclosures & Glass Installations:
Coverage:
- Sealing and caulking defects
- Manufacturing defects
Exclusions:
- Damage from harsh chemicals
- Improper cleaning or misuse
6. Service Coverage Structure:
- First 6 Months: 100% free rectification of eligible workmanship-related defects
- Subsequent 6 Months: 75% coverage of service costs; remaining 25% payable by the client
7. General Warranty Exclusions:
7.1 - The following are excluded from all warranties:
- Natural wear and tear
- Environmental or natural calamity damage (humidity, flooding, fire, earthquake, etc.)
- Damage due to negligence, misuse, or accidents
- Unauthorized repairs, dismantling, or alterations
- Glass, mirrors, gas pipelines, and countertop material defects
8. Warranty Claim Procedure:
To initiate a warranty or service claim:

- Provide client details, project reference, and issue description
- Site inspection will be conducted by an authorized representative
- Approved claims will be repaired or replaced at JAIS INTERIO PRIVATE LIMITED’s discretion
- Important: Repaired or replaced components do not qualify for a renewed warranty period.
9. Complimentary Maintenance Visit:
- Within First 6 Months: One complimentary visit for routine inspection, adjustments, and minor servicing
- After 6 Months: All service visits shall be chargeable as per prevailing service rates
10. Payment Compliance & Project Timelines:
- Adherence to the agreed payment schedule is mandatory.
- Delay in payments will result in immediate suspension of work
- Project timelines shall stand revised accordingly
JAIS INTERIO PRIVATE LIMITED shall not be liable for delays arising due to outstanding dues from the client
